Rolla Local
Title:  Rolla Local

It's taken the crew about an hour and a half to travel the 15 miles between here and Churchs Ferry (where the Rolla branch meets up with the Devils Lake mainline), but their day isn't done yet - they'll spend over an hour here, in one of the more interestingly named cities in North Dakota, attaching and detaching grain cars.

BNSF 764
Title:  BNSF 764
Description:  A priority Z-train sails across the high bridge across the Sheyenne River west of Luverne, North Dakota. Although this bridge, built by the Great Northern, isn't quite as long or as high as its well-known Northern Pacific cousin crossing the Sheyenne about 30 miles dowstream in Valley City, it is nevertheless pretty impressive.

Jamestown Local
Title:  Jamestown Local
Description:  Though you need to squint to see the entire Jamestown Local spread out on the famed bridge the Northern Pacific built across the Sheyenne River in Valley City, North Dakota, it should be pretty apparent how imposing the 3,860 foot long structure is and how far away you have to be to get it in one camera frame. The Great Northern built a shorter, but highly similar, bridge about 30 miles upstream from here near Luverne.
