BNSF 8108 |
Description: |
The ex-BN 9208 and two Oakway SD60s pull a coal train east through Motley at the site of an ugly collision and derailment a few months ago. The lead SD60M on this train should hold a special place in the hearts of Burlington Northern fans, as it was the last ex-BN SD60M to avoid getting a BNSF patch. Fate finally caught up to it, however, in November 2007, when it was was transformed from the BN 9208 into the BNSF 8108. |

More information about this bridge can be found at http://www.johnweeks.net/headwaters/pages03/bnrr_littlefallsS.html, which is a part of an excellent website that chronicles crossings of the Mississippi River within Minnesota. |
