Title:  BNSF 8108
Description:  The ex-BN 9208 and two Oakway SD60s pull a coal train east through Motley at the site of an ugly collision and derailment a few months ago. The lead SD60M on this train should hold a special place in the hearts of Burlington Northern fans, as it was the last ex-BN SD60M to avoid getting a BNSF patch. Fate finally caught up to it, however, in November 2007, when it was was transformed from the BN 9208 into the BNSF 8108.

Description:  I don't know if it was just a strange coincidence or somebody having fun in Superior, but this all-green consist was nice to see on St. Patrick's Day. This train stopped on the main at Kimberly to wait until some broken rail could be repaired up ahead in Aitkin.

Description:  An eastbound coal train with BNSF 9206 in consist comes around the large curve in McKenzie and in so doing wraps around a 52-car Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western (DMVW) corn train stopped on that railroad's Hazelton Subdivision. The DMVW crew is waiting for the coal train to pass so that they can get on BNSF's rails and head 20 miles west toward Bismarck.
